As a Registered nurse I COULD NOT assist in, or counsel in support of abortion at any stage. Not only is abortion violence against an innocent fetus but can also have serious phychological reprecussions fo the mother for the rest of her life. An act she can never take back, an act that may haunt her for the rest of her life. To force health care professionals to take part in this and live with their consciences is reprehensible and in my opinion an act of violence and torture against the health care professional. I would quit, period. We are trained to promote health and life.
