A Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that doctors must be free to practice medicine without being forced to perform controversial gender-transition surgeries and abortions in violation of  their conscience and professional medical judgment.

 

Christian Medical & Dental Associations v. Bonita California (Assisted Suicide)

Amendments to California’s End of Life Option Act forced objecting doctors to document suicide requests and to refer patients to physicians who would end lives.

 

State of Texas v. Becerra – Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act – EMTALA (Abortion/Conscience Freedoms)

Protecting emergency room doctors from being forced to perform elective abortions.
